good tool well designed fun and productive to use! Does it make me dream of other useful representations it might do? Yeah! But this is marvelous. Thanks for it.

confusing to use app and a terrible layout. Hardly works how it is advertised to work.
Excellent!!
Love it!
Hiii!! To quickly introduce myself, I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with almost a decade of work experience in this field of effective communications. HOWEVER, immediately after I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree, I was hired to work as a home-health therapist assistant for 7+ years, but needed a drastic change. So, now I work as a school-based SLP-Assistant contractor. Now that I’ve become more aware of how seriously unintelligible I sound as a specialist, whenever I cannot accurately pronounce advanced words from English literature books, and/or medical terminology books. Let’s get the point that I was in dire need of this type of phonetic transcription app, in order to double and triple check different articulation goals. To the amazing app creators who might happen to read this review, THANK YOU SO EXTRAORDINARILY MUCH!! You’re about to be known as my top recommended apps!!!
What I got this app for was so that I could have words written in IPA. The typing on my phone makes it impossible. However, I cannot seem to get one word written in IPA.
This is my favorite phonetics app — you can choose either British or American phonetic transcriptions. I use it all the time when teaching English to my university students.
Dhoong gaanaa
Why only English? English is one of many languages. Why can’t there be more? Think on a broader scale people. Also I’m a Vocalist apps like think can be ideal for international words/languages. Don’t always like using Google translator to find IPAs.
The voice to text/IPA is fantastic on this app. So much better than apple iPhone speech to text. This app gets all of the text correct and the transcription is spot on! Only wish it transcribed the American 'r' inverted as it should be in IPA. Now if we could only use speech to text feature to instantly transcribe speech sound disorders!
For poetry analysis, this is what I'm looking for. Will recommend it to others. Baffled by any 1 star reviews.
Yay!
Incomplete transcription, no sound, no translation back to English or any language.
It's not displaying the correct phonetics. For instance /ˌɪntə(ː)ˈmiːdjət/ Can you fix this?
This app seems to simply replace letters with rudimentary IPA symbols, but it isn't a real phonetic transcription. There are no diphthongs, no flap consonants, no aspirated stops, no syllabic consonants, etc. The transcriptions aren't even accurate phonemic representations. I paid $4 for this app and I deleted it from my phone.
I do enjoy this app it meets all the needs I required. However I do not agree with it's pricing of 4$ it's expensive for it's feature. I think a good price would be either 0.99$ or 1.99$.
Really important for good pronunciation sentences!
